I've heard some people say that's almost impossible. My big concern is that I was thinking about going granite with the countertops, for the increased durability, but am concerned that I would not be able to re-use the countertop if I ever need to redo the cabinets. I've heard good things generally about IKEA cabinets, was going to use glue and a brad nailer for increased durability, and maybe sheet vinyl or something under the sink to help leak-proof it. It's a black wood-grain thermo-foil finish. ![]() Concrete slab floor I'm thinking of doing wood-appearance LVP throughout, and was worried about wood appearances clashing, so ended up liking one of the cheaper IKEA cabinet facings (Tingsryd?). They are placing several 1'x2' x 1/8' thick shims around under the granite to bring it level. The lower gauge stainless steel sink you get, the more durable it will be. ![]() Durability Granite composite sinks win in the durability category because that’s what they were designed to be great at. When placing an 8 level across the sink base and the cabinets on either side, one can readily rock the level with maybe 3/8 difference end to end. They are going to be cheaper and more accessible than granite composite, but may not hold up as well over time.
